GENDER PROBLEM IN COMPUTERS...

Are computers male or female ?

As you are aware, ships have long been characterized as being female.
(e.g., “Steady as she goes” or “She’s listing to starboard, Captain!”)

Recently, a group of computer scientists (all males) announced that computers should also be referred to as being female. Their reasons for drawing this conclusion follow:
Five reasons to believe computers are female: -

1. No one but the Creator understands their internal logic.
2. The native language they use to communicate with other computers is incomprehensible to everyone else.
3. The message “Bad command or file name” is about as informative as, “If you don’t know why I’m mad at you, then I’m certainly not going to tell you.”
4. Even your smallest mistakes are stored in long-term memory for later retrieval.
5. As soon as you make a commitment to one, you find yourself spending half your paycheck on accessories for it.

However, another group of computer scientists, (all female) think that computers should be referred to as if they were male.
Their reasons follow:
Five reasons to believe computers are male:
1. They have a lot of data, but are still clueless.
2. They are supposed to help you solve problems, but half the time they ARE the problem.
3. As soon as you commit to one you realize that, if you had waited a little longer, you could have obtained a better model.
4. In order to get their attention, you have to turn them on.
5. Big power surges knock them out for the rest of the night

SWITCH IDEA

THIE IS WHAT CALLED INNOVATION IN NEW PRODUCT DESIGNS...

I.C

INTEGRATED CIRCUIT
In the year of 1958 The Techsus Instrument of America introduce a new types of electronics device the name is I.C. Menes intrigated circuit.
In a Sq.mm space consist of thousand electronics component like Diod, Transistor, Resistor, Capacitor etc.

Normally 4 types of process are used to make an I.C.
i) Monolithic
ii) Thinflim.
iii) Thickflim.
iv) Hybreed.
In this above I.C. Monolithic I.C. is the best for commercial use

On the basis of work i.C. is two types :
i) Linear I.C.
ii) Non Linear I.C.
Linear I.C. is used in a limited place. Exam : Audio Amplifier, DC Amplifier, Video Amplifier, Modulator.
In the Digital Electronics Non Linier I.C. is the popular & usefull I.C. Exam : Logic gate, Counter, Dicoder, Freequency devider.
In a digital I.C. consist of different logic gate

In a digital I.C. consist of different logic gate.
Depend on the number of logic gate digital I.C. are three types :

3M MPrO 110 MICRO-PROSECTOR

Laptops, cellphones and other portables can shrink only so far before their displays are unusable. 3M decouples screen size from gadget size with the first micro-projector. It can show 50-inch-diagonal images in a dark room and 10-inch images under bright light. The tech debuts bundled with a one-hour battery in the handheld MPro110. By next year, 3M expects to squeeze the projector (itself the size of a matchbox) into cellphones, MP3 players and other gadgets.

3M beat other companies in the pocket-projector race by refining a well-known design instead of developing exotic technologies such as miniature lasers. Like many tabletop projectors, this model uses a set of prisms to direct light from a lamp onto an imaging chip that sets the color and intensity of each pixel in the projection. But rather than using separate lenses around the prisms, 3M molded prisms with rounded edges that act as built-in lenses. To keep power and size down, the projector’s lamp is a one-watt LED with a special lens to concentrate the light beam so that none of it goes to waste.

The 5.4-ounce MPro110 has inputs for laptops, digital cameras and cellphones to display video at standard-definition-TV quality (640 by 480 pixels). So it’s not only a great tool for business presentations, but also the cheapest giant-screen TV. $360; 3m.com

TOP TEN INVENTIONS

Trainers: Trainers changed fashion and the feet of generations ever since the Goodyear Metallic Rubber Shoe Company first used a new manufacturing process to meld rubber to cloth in 1892. With the help of celebrity endorsements by sporting superstars such as basketball legend Michael Jordan, trainers turned from being purely practical clothing for sport into a fashion item. Microwaves: Electromagnetic radiation with wavelengths ranging between 1 millimetre and one metre - are used by mobile phones, wireless broadband internet and satellite television. (AP Photo)

Electronic Money: Credit cards gave us greater convenience for spending, greater security and the ability to spend money anywhere in the world. (AP Photo)

Text messages: Text messaging has created a new vocabulary and new grammar that is almost incomprehensible to those who do not use it. LOL and FYI have now passed into everyday English. (AP Photo)

Social Networking: Everyday, more than three billion minutes are spent by computer users on Facebook. Along with other social networking sites such as MySpace and Twitter, it has completely changed the way we interact and who we interact with. Millions of people now communicate tiny details of their professional and personal lives by poking, twittering and posting. Online social networking has allowed people to rekindle friendships with friends they lost touch with years ago. (AP Photo)

PlayStation: Although games consoles had been around for some time, Sony's PlayStation took gaming out of spotty teenager's bedrooms and into adult living rooms when it was released in 1994. (AP Photo)

TV Dinners: Convenience food really took off in the 1970s and transformed the way families ate meals, the high-street, the countryside and national health. Traditional family dinners around the table disappeared and pre-packaged 'ready meals' eaten on the sofa became the norm. (AP Photo)

The Bar code: The boring sets of black and white lines can now be found on almost every single item bought from a shop. Norman Woodland first developed an early form of the bar code in 1949 by combining ideas from movie soundtracks and Morse code to help him speed up store checkouts. And now stores can instantly access product details, prices and stock levels with a sweep of a laser. (AP Photo)

The Sony Walkman: In 1979 Sony spawned the era of wearable technology with its iconic personal stereo. The Walkman quickly changed listening habits and became hugely popular as jogging culture took the 1980s by storm. (AP Photo)

GPS Technology: Originally developed as a navigation system by the United States military, the Global Positioning System is now used in cars, aircraft and boats. (AP Photo)

Credit cards, trainer shoes, social networking sites, and GPS technology have made it to the list of things that have changed the world.
To mark the National Science and Engineering Week, a panel of 20 experts from the ' British Science Association ' have drawn up a list of the top 10 things that have changed the world.

This is small.
1.8" tall x 0.3" thin to be exact.
To create the world’s smallest music player, we moved the controls from iPod shuffle to the earbud cord. This allowed us to make the new iPod shuffle dramatically smaller, but not just for dramatically smaller’s sake. It’s also easier to use, with the controls located where you can access them quickly
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Easy access controls.
The controls of the new iPod shuffle are located on the right earbud cord. With command central now strategically placed in this more convenient location, you can navigate your music — and activate the VoiceOver feature — without taking your eyes off your run, your ride, or whatever you’re doing.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Your music library. To go.
There was a time when limited storage meant you had to leave a lot of your songs on the sync-room floor. But now that iPod shuffle has 4GB of storage, you have plenty of room to store hours and hours of music — up to 1,000 songs.* With room for multiple playlists, too.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Fashion tech-cessory.
Even the iPod shuffle clip gets the rock star treatment. Now forged in stainless steel, the clip attaches securely to your shirt, jacket, workout gear, even your backpack. And the sleek, durable, anodized aluminum case — available in silver or black — makes iPod shuffle a wardrobe essential. And yes, there’s still room for personalized engraving.
